20th-Dec-2009 09:14 am - Update, a picture and musings
Okay, I think it has been four months since I even looked at my list... somehow I have managed to complete 10 goals, Fail at 5, and I have 15 in progress. Oh, and I still only have 76 goals.

I feel like I'm very busy putting one food in front of the other, but I don't really know where I'm going. A friend asked me the other day, "Who is Sara?" and I couldn't give her an answer, I really don't know.

I think my list is going to see some more tweaking while I figure that out! So I added:
49. Get a therapist
50. Write a statement of who I am

In the meantime I've created some new art that I'm really happy with, so I'm sharing a picture here. I call it "Okinawa Chalice" and I made it for a fellow Unitarian Universalist (the chalice is the symbol of our church)

18th-Dec-2009 04:41 pm - almost a year

im probably the laziest and biggest procrastinator here. actually i've struck off several items on my list, but just didnt get down to writing about them. just curious, does anyone change their list? like, when you know you can't accomplish that task anymore?

17th-Dec-2009 11:11 pm - Update: First half of December
23. Pay my bills on time each month

I'm doing well on this one, mainly through setting up a number of standing orders.

27. Not apologise when someone bumps into/barges into/pushes me in the street

I'm really doing badly at this; I even apologise if I have a near miss with someone in the street. I feel very guilty about gettng in peoples' way.

34. Read at least 30 books I’ve not read yet (20/30)

This month I have read "Ghost Song" by Sarah Rayne and finished "Liverpool: A Season on the Brink" by Guillem Balague.

51. Strike up one conversation a month with a person I don’t know (12/31)

I started talking to someone else in a queue for food at an exhibition a few weeks ago, about how crowded the place was.

84. Cook dinner for a family member or friend without any assistance

COMPLETED: I cooked a meal for my Mum a few weeks ago; it was a fairly simple meal, including pasta and vegetables, with sauce, mostly from scratch.

86. Visit five stations on the London Underground that I have not yet visited and take photographs (if possible). (1/5)

I visited #1 a few weeks ago - Canning Town station, on the way back from an exhibition at ExCel. I didn't get a chance to take a picture, though.

97. Buy Christmas decorations for the office instead of waiting for someone else to buy them

I meant to do this one this year, and never got round to buying the decorations. Hence my area of the office looks very bare; I will resolve to actually do this next year since I know I don't have time.
17th-Dec-2009 12:13 pm - Finally, an update!
At last I have a bit more progress to report on: two more goals finished and two that I've made progress on. I'm thinking of revising my list about New Year to replace some of the goals that don't appeal to me with ones that are a bit more relevant right now.

I'm pretty sure that a while ago, someone (or maybe a few someones) in this community was posting about a 1000-sit-ups challenge. It outlined an exercise program that would enable a person to learn to do 1000 sit-ups within a certain time period. Does anyone remember that? I'd like to take it on, but my google-fu is not up to the challenge and none of the sites I've found have been the one I remember from back then.

If anyone can give me the link I'd be grateful. =3
